SPOL a leading provider of fuel and lubricants in the Solomon Islands is proposing to construct a
new warehouse at its Point Cruz terminal as part of its long-term strategic goal to improve storage
and delivery of services in the capitol and throughout the nation. SPOL is hereby requesting
reputable construction company in the country to provide fees for the construction of the
proposed new warehouse.
Companies wishing to bid and submit proposal shall collect all documents pertaining to the
tender for a fee of $200.00 at Level 4, SPO corporate office, NPF building, Mendana Avenue.
Tenders shall close on 23 July 2024, 4pm, Any tender submitted after the due date shall not be
accepted.

Submission
All tender to be submitted in a sealed envelope title: Construction of Proposed SPOL warehouse

Evaluation Matrix
Scores shall be given as per technical evaluation criteria in the table below weighing 60% and
financial criteria weighing 40%. The lowest evaluated financial price is given the maximum
financial weight out of 40%. The lowest or any tender shall not be necessarily accepted by SPOL.

Request for extension of tender period
Requested for an extension of time to the tender period. SPOL acknowledge 2 weeks tender period is too short and have proposed a new submission date of 31st July 2024, 4pm.
This notice to Tenderers shall become one of the contract documents. In the tender application, tenderers shall acknowledge receipt of this notice and confirm that its provisions are allowed for and included in their tender price.
