1. The Energy Division of the Ministry of Mines, Energy & Rural Electrification invites
   interested eligible Tenderers to submit Tender for the supply of the following.
   Lot 1: Solar PV off-grid system of 10 KW for Kulu Community High School,
   Guadalcanal province.

   Name of project: Rural Schools Hybrid Solar PV Off-Grid System Electrification.
   Lot 2: Kwaithafu Mini Hydro power hybrid off grid system of 51KW for North Malaita
   Constituency, Malaita province.
   Tender Reference Number: MMERE/MTB 03/2026
   MTB Reference Number: MTB/E 02/2026
   Name of project: Rural Community Mini Hydropower hybrid off grid system
   electrification.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the
   SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual, and is
   open to all eligible Tenderer. The contract will be awarded the lowest responsive evaluated tender.

5. Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers must be address to
   the following:

6. Tenders must be delivered to the address below:

   At or before 2:00 PM on Friday, 6th of November, 2026.
   Tenders shall be valid for 90…. Days after the deadline of Tender submission. Later or
   Incomplete tender will be rejected.
7. Tender envelope is to be marked with the Tender Reference Number and the tenders Name on
   the outside of the envelope. Tenderer s must fill the lodgement Register upon submission of
   tender.
8. Tenders will be open in the presence of the tenderers representative (s) who wishes to attend at
   the MMERE Conference Building shortly after the due time 4:00 pm on Friday 6th November
   2026.
9. The Ministerial Tender Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the tenders.
10. A non-refundable fee of $200.00 upon receipt from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury for
    the Bidding Documents.
