Name of Project: Provision of Preliminary Services (UXO Surveys, Geotechnical Assessment & Topography Surveys) for Construction Sites for Ablution Blocks in 13 selected Honiara Schools

The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the Provision of Preliminary Services for UXO Surveys, Geotechnical Assessment and Topography Surveys for Construction sites for Ablution Blocks in 13 selected Honiara Schools in 3 Lots.

Lot 1 – UXO Services
Lot 2 – Geotechnical Assessment
Lot 3 – Boundary and Topography Surveys Tenderers can either bid for any or all of the Lots.

To qualify for the tender, tenderers should meet the following minimum requirements;

  1. annual volume of Services of at least the amount of $300,000.00
  2. Experience as prime contractor in the provision of at least two service contracts of a nature and complexity equivalent to the Services over the last 5 years (Services contracts cited should be at least 80 percent complete)
  1. Must have the essential plant and equipment to perform the required
  2. a Contract Manager with five years’ experience in Services of an equivalent nature and volume, including no less than three years as Manager;
  3. Must have liquid assets and/or credit facilities, net of other contractual commitments and exclusive of any advance payments which may be made under the Contract
  4. Not have been blacklisted nor suspended by any SIG ministry or agency; it must have no record of poor or failure of performance in any of its previous contracts

Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the PFM (Procurement) Regulations 2021, SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual 2022, and is open to all eligible Tenderers.

Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Contractors (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 pm, 4 June 2026. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission.
