The Government of Papua New Guinea, through the Office of the Chief Secretary, on behalf of the State Fuel Crisis Task Force, invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible and independent accounting and audit firms to provide Independent Accounting and Audit Support for the Government Fuel Relief Package, approved under NEC Decision No. 71/2026.
The assignment involves independent verification, reconciliation, compliance monitoring, audit, and reporting relating to a K1 billion Fuel Price Relief Package, including oversight of subsidy payments, Trust Account operations, and compliance with applicable laws and directives.
Duration: Six (6) months (May-October 2026).
Eligibility:
Firms must demonstrate relevant experience in financial audit/forensic accounting, independence from all programme beneficiaries, professional accreditation, and capacity to handle STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL government information.

Submission Deadline:
EOIs must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked.
