1. The Independent State of Papua New Guinea has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Security and Resilience Improvement Project (UWSSSRIP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
2. Water PNG Limited (“the Employer”), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Contract No. UWSSSRIP-CW-04 – POM Sanitation, Desludging of Waigani Sewage Pond #3 (“the Works”).
3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
4. As defined in the Bidding Document, only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding: Average Annual Construction Turnover of PGK 4.0m over the last 3 years.
   Financial Resources of PGK 0.75m.
   Experience in at least two contracts over the last 5 years of value >PGK 1.5m including earthworks and road construction.
