Solomon Islands National Provident Fund Salary Structure Review
The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF) Board recognizes the essence of a competitive and equitable salary structure to attract, retain, empower, motivate and instill excellence in its competent employees.
SINPF Salary structure is a Step-Based Pay Structure with steps. While the structure provides for transparent career progression through succession planning, predictable salary increases and ease to manage and budget, it had its constraints of which an interim measure is in place to manage the constraints. In addition, the current structure may no longer be aligned with the current market, organizational strategy, or internal equity as such a review is of importance.
To achieve this, the SINPF Board is seeking the services of an Independent external consultant with wide experience and expertise in salary structure review and development preferably to provide technical service to assist SINPF Board and Management team to;
1). Review the current Salary Structure with the objective to ensure the structure promotes external competitiveness, maintains internal equity, supports organisation strategy, simplify and improve transparency, controls compensation costs and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
2). Arising from the review exercise and within the unique conditions faced by SINPF, develop a revised Salary Structure that addresses the current constraints and at the same time achieve the engagement objectives.
