1. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development shall fund this procurement from SIG budgetary allocation, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this allocation to payments under the Contract for Periodic Maintenance of Afio to Rokera Unsealed Road and Bridges.

2. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development now invites sealed tenders from eligible and qualified tenderers for Periodic Maintenance of Afio to Rokera Unseal Road and Bridges.

3. Tendering will be conducted through the SIG Standard Competitive Tendering Procedures, and is open to all Eligible tenderers as defined in the Tender Documents.

Tenderers are invited to attend the pre-tender briefing, where the Purchaser will respond to any queries or requests for clarifications they might have on the tender documents. The pre-tender meeting will commence at 10:00 am on Monday 20^th July 2026 at MID TIMS Conference room at the above address.

5. Qualifications requirements include:

• Be duly registered business under SIG Law
• Have a Tax Identification Number (TIN) issued by Inland Revenue,
• Maintain a bank account with any bank operating in Solomon Islands,
• Not be subjected to any blacklisting or restrictions to eligibility as per instruction to tenderers (ITT),
• Must have satisfactorily completed at least one similar contract and technical complexity in similar locations and Conditions in the last five years,
• Experience as prime contractor in the construction industry of at least one successfully completed works of similar nature and complexity in the last five years,
• Able to provide or acquire (by own, lease, hire, etc.) the essential equipment listed in the tender documents insert key technical, financial, legal and other requirements.

6. A complete set of Tender Documents may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee⁷ SBD$ 200.00. The method of payment will be by cash.⁸ The Tender Documents will be sent by electronic (email/flash drive) or collected by hard copy.⁹

7. Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before 2PM, Thursday 30^th July 2026. Electronic tendering shall not be permitted. Late tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened physically in the presence of the tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 2PM, Thursday 30^th July 2026.

8. All tenders shall be accompanied by a “Tender Security in a form of Bank Guarantee of Bank Cheque payable to SIG at SBD$100,000.00
