1. The Government of Papua New Guinea has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Security and Resilience Improvement Project (UWSSSRIP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
2. Water PNG Limited (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the Mount Eriama WTP – Master Valves & Lime Dosing (“the Facilities”).
3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding:
   a) Minimum average annual turnover of US$ 8.0m.
   b) Financial resources to meet or exceed the total requirement for the Subject Contract of US$ 1.0m.
   c) Participation in at least two contracts within the last 5 years that are similar to the proposed contract, where the value of the Bidder’s participation under each contract exceeds US$ 3.0m.
   d) Similarity to be based on the construction and commissioning of a plant or system including:
   ⚫ Media filtration
   ⚫ Chemical dosing
   e) A minimum experience in the following key activities:
   ⚫ Design, supply, installation and commissioning of control panels for media filtration and chemical dosing

• Design, supply and installation of low-pressure stainless-steel pipework (alternative technical solution)
• Supply, installation and commissioning of instrumentation
